The studio
An independent studio in Royan, with one person to talk to from start to finish.
I’m Kévin Martin. For more than twelve years I have been designing and building websites and web applications, for large companies such as Dailymotion, Renault and Microsoft, and for freelancers, small businesses and local shops. I handle the design, the development and the SEO myself, so you deal with the same person from the first meeting to every update after launch.

I start from what your visitors are looking for and build the pages around it. Design should make the content clearer, not decorate it.

A site has to load quickly on an old phone over 4G and still be easy to change two years from now. I write clean code instead of stacking plugins.

FAQ
The questions I get asked most.
How much does a website cost?
It mostly depends on the number of pages, the features (online store, booking, customer area) and who writes the content. After a free first call, I send you a detailed quote, line by line. The price quoted is the price you pay.
How long does it take to build a website?
For a brochure site, usually two to six weeks. The timeline depends a lot on when the copy and photos are ready and how quickly feedback comes back. An online store or an application takes longer. We set the schedule together when I send the quote.
Do you only work in Royan and Charente-Maritime?
No. I’m based in Royan and work with many businesses in Charente-Maritime, but a good share of my clients are elsewhere in France. Working remotely, by video call and email, goes very smoothly.
Is Studio KMA a web agency?
Studio KMA is me, Kévin Martin. I do the same work as a web agency in Royan, from design to SEO, but you always deal with the same person.
Is SEO included?
Yes, the foundations always are: page structure, markup, structured data, speed, mobile version. If you want to go further (copywriting, rank tracking, Google Business Profile optimisation), I offer that as a separate service.
Do you also handle redesigns and maintenance?
Yes. I take over existing sites and modernise them while keeping what already works, starting with the search rankings they have earned. I can then look after updates and new features.
Will my site be fast and mobile-friendly?
Yes. I test every site on phone, tablet and desktop, and keep an eye on load times right up to launch. Google takes speed and the mobile version into account when ranking pages, so it matters.
