Web applications

Custom web applications

An overflowing shared spreadsheet, software that no longer fits the way you work, a product idea to test: that is often how a web application project starts.

I have spent several years on products used at large scale, including four years on Dailymotion’s partner studio. I apply the same method to smaller tools: start from real use, ship a useful first version quickly, then improve it.

What I build

Most of my work is on the interface side, with React and TypeScript. I also handle the back end (Node.js, APIs, databases) when the project needs it.

  • Business tools: scheduling, stock, customer files
  • Back-offices and customer portals connected to your data
  • SaaS products, from first version to scale
  • AI features added to an existing product
  • Dashboards and admin interfaces

An interface people want to use

A badly designed internal tool ends up being worked around, and everyone goes back to the spreadsheet. I spend time with future users to understand their daily routine, then design screens that get to the point. Interface design is part of development, not a separate step.

Code others can pick up

I write readable code, with tests and documentation. If your team grows or another developer takes over, they will not be starting from scratch.

Method

How it works

  1. 01

    Workshop

We start from how you work today and what gets stuck. You leave with a list of features ranked by priority.

  2. 02

    Prototype

Clickable mockups to validate the main screens before any code is written.

  3. 03

    Development

Short, regular deliveries that you test as we go.

  4. 04

    Iteration

Once the tool is in production, we improve it based on user feedback.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need a full specification before we start?

No. A description of your need and your constraints is enough to begin. We refine the rest during the scoping workshop, which is exactly what it is for.

Can you take over an existing application?

Yes, after a code audit to see what can be kept. Depending on the state of the project, I will suggest evolving it step by step or rebuilding certain parts.

Do you work with in-house teams?

Yes, that is a large part of my experience. I can join an existing product team, as I did at Dailymotion and Renault, or run the project on my own.

An application project in mind?

Describe the problem you want to solve and who will use the tool. I will reply with questions and a first idea of scope.
