Local SEO in Royan
When someone searches for “plombier Royan” or “restaurant La Tremblade”, Google shows three businesses on a map, then about ten websites. If yours is not there, it does not exist for that customer.
I handle SEO for businesses in Royan and Charente-Maritime, whether or not I built their website. My job is to get you showing up for the searches your customers make, and to turn those visits into calls or quote requests.
What I look at first
Every engagement starts with an audit. I go through your site the way Google does, and compare your visibility with your direct competitors on the searches that matter to you.
- Technical health: indexing, speed, mobile version, errors, redirects
- Structure: one page per service and area, consistent titles
- Content: what your customers search for, and what your pages tell them
- Your Google Business Profile: categories, details, photos, reviews
- Links: the sites that mention you, and the ones that could
Local SEO around Royan
For a business that serves a specific area, local search often matters more than anything else. It rests on two things: your Google Business Profile, which puts you on the map, and pages that clearly describe what you do and the towns you cover.
Royan, Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, Vaux-sur-Mer, Saujon, Meschers: I know the area and how people search here. A tradesman covering the whole Arvert peninsula needs a different approach from a shop in the town centre.
No promise of first place
Nobody can guarantee a position on Google, and I am wary of anyone who does. What I can promise is careful work that I explain as I go, with figures we track together: indexed pages, rankings on your keywords, clicks from Google, calls from your profile.

FAQ
Common questions
How long before I see results?
Technical fixes can make a difference within a few weeks. For competitive searches, expect three to six months. On local searches with little competition, it is often quicker.
Do I need a new website to rank better?
Not necessarily. Many sites improve a lot with targeted fixes. If yours is too slow or too old to fix properly, I will tell you, and we will look at whether a redesign is the better investment.
Do you handle the Google Business Profile?
Yes. I check the categories, opening hours, description and photos, and explain how to collect and manage customer reviews. For a local business, it is often what moves things fastest.
